Working out to cope with anxiety Lately, I've been feeling more and more anxious due to job applications. I recently found that sticking to a weekly workout program (30mins~1hr a day) really helps curb my anxiety. Any one else workout to control their anxiety?
Any plans for this Friday or Weekend? Just about to go out for movies with some of my friends. Other than that, I have nothing else really scheduled for this weekend. How about you?
How much do emotions dictate your personal behavior? Last week I participated in a small poker tournament and the atmosphere there was incredible. People had their poker face on and were actively monitoring for the smallest changes in other players' behaviors. Any signs of hesitation or brashness resulted in the player being attacked viciously by other competitors like wolves attacking a deer. In an environment where concealing my emotions were crucial to my survival, I realized I lacked the veil that most competitors around the table possessed. Need help with engineering math. Engineers of basil help Heya guys. The question is as follows: An object with dimensions of height 14mm and width of 32 mm undergoes a four point bending test. What is the maximum deflection if the object is made of steel? Now I'm pretty sure this is impossible to solve unless we are given a load force right? My friend got asked this question and I have no idea how to solve it. He told me this is all he was given but I'm almost convinced you need a force to calculate this question. I'm actually confused because he told me the answer is a number.
