Physics Help I had a lab on projectile motion a couple of days ago, and there's one question that I don't really understand. It asks for the acceleration [i]during flight,[/i] but I don't really know what to put as the answer. I had asked my teacher already, and she specfically emphasized on the during flight part of the question. If it has to do with air resistance, it was not a part of the cirriculum so I haven't learned how to calculate it. Thanks for your help.
Projectile Motion Question Is this problem solvable? The question was something along the lines of: A ball is launched at an angle of 30 degrees and lands on top of a building. It's landing point is 5m above the launch position. The distance between the launch position and building is 20m. Find the initial velocity. Is there some sort of way to substitute/eliminate? The only way it seems to work is if the landing point is the max height, where the vertical velocity is equal to zero.
