Maxing Summon Reaper instead or Dark Shock? I am a lvl 143 Battle Mage. For the 3rd job skill build, I maxed Dark Shock instead of Reapers which is very common choice. But after being 4th job, I don't feel usage of Dark Shock since I find Finish Blow's damage more effective and faster..... So I am thinking of getting sp reset form Renegade event or hot time to max Reaper instead of Dark Shock. I know both skills don't do much but I find Reaper more effective and it came handy lately...:/ So is this bad idea? I would like to hear other Batm's opinion.
Kms has same Body Boost Glitch as Gms? I am sure most of Battle Mages in GMS are aware of current Body Boost glitch started since Tempest Update. I believe the glitch is where Body Boost's damage increase +40%, with Advanced Dark Aura +20%, it is total +60 but it seems it overlaps with Advanced Dark Aura only gives total +40% instead of +60% :/ Well also I heard people in Basil talking about KMS Body Boost have same glitch but I am not sure it is true. :/ I am aware of that they had skill graphic glitch where screen gets dark for no reason when they use Body Boost (currently fixed) but same glitch as GMS? I am a member of Insoya, a KMS community site and while I talk to other KMS Battle Mages experts, they don't seem to have same glitch as
Do Battle Mages reach Max Weapon Def of 9999? Well, I am lvl 157 and thanks to Advanced Blue Aura my Magic DEF reached max of 9999. :p (Well M.DEF it is easy to reach max since we are mages) but do we ever reach max Weapon Def too? :/ We are a mage class so our Weapon DEF isn't good as our M.DEF but still good enough compare to overall classes. Just wondering. :p
How should we use our New Twister Spin? Well, with Revamp our Twister Spin got stronger, larger, and even pulls mobs near it. :) But is lost invincibility with moving capability. :/ To me, previous Twister Spin was very effective against grinding normal mobs but now it isn't :/ So How should we use our New Twister Spin?
Most of Kms Batm quit after Justice patch, so will you too? I have talk to KMS Batm people. Most of them quit after the DPS was so low compare to other class after Justice where most of class got buffed. Only few of them left to keep their Batm because loved the style. So what about you GMS people? I am not quiting Batm, staying as Batm forever. Even it has lowest DPS, I still play. So what is your decision? edit: Yes we do get buffed but other class gets buffed more and have higher DPS.
Is Body Boost still glitched? Due to some personal problems, I wasn't able to play Maple Story since 6th of Jan. (Missed all Hot Times and patches....still haven't created Angelic Buster....sigh :( ) Anyway... Is Body Boost still glitched or fixed? I checked all the bug & glitch fixed notes but I don't see any thing about Body Boost.... I think it has been about a month since it is glitched...
So much Batm macros bot Thanks to Resistance Revamp, the number of Battle Mage increased a bit but everywhere I go it is either Evan or Battle Mage Macros (Bots).... :| It is making Battle Mage looks bad, and even some people thought I was a bot....

Anyway, I just got the update info from here about Job Revamps and buffs...nothing about Battle Mage. ;no=5374&category=2 (Source from Nexon KMS Homepage, and I got it from Insoya) (Sorry but I don't have time for translation) There is Wild Hunter, Aran, Evan, and bit of stuffs but no Battle Mage unlike they planned. Probably because a lot of KMS Battle Mage and also other class players have sent enquirers and complaint form about
Why cant we exchange Battle Mage Books for new one? I got Dark Aura 30 Book and I decided to exchange it to Staff Expert 30 but Admin doesn't have any exchange option for Battle Mage for me :/ So anyone else having similar issue by any chance?
There is attack speed limit on Finish Blow? Well, I am sure that everybody is aware of up coming Batm ptach in KMS. Attack speed stays same but every attack skill just got faster. Which means slow-staff got faster and e-staff got even faster. :) Well, that what I thought but I talked to some KMS Battle Mages and they said there is speed limit on Finishing Blow. I was like wtf. :/ And they said Finish blow speed can't go faster than the limit. "Finish blow can't hit faster than 96 hits per a min"......:/ Is this true? Does Finish blow have speed limit on the skill? I know there the attack speed booster limit is (2) but even a skill got a limit on it? :/
Do we get a free 100 mastery book if we are over 70? Seems like Nexon is handing out free full 100% mastery book for revamped class when we reach lvl70. (Just like Legend classes did) But do we still get them if we are already over lvl70? edit: title should have been 'free full 100%'. Why can't we use symbols on title?
What Elemental Staff do you guys use? Battle Mage was well known using Elemental Staff back then (maybe still? lol) because of Staff's fast attack speed but E-Staff's fast attack speed no longer huge advantage..... But still something Battle Mage can't ignore...and E-Staff 5~8 is still viable weapon for us. And Battle Mage don't have any elemental based attack so we aren't affected by penalty either.....so we can use any E-Staff without a problem. So I am just wondering, what Elemental Staff do you guys use? I am using E-Staff 8 because it was on sale back then and it was cheapest I could find at FM....... :/ I got E-Staff 1 as well from few years ago but out dated :/ so my lvl 103 Evan is using it lol I would Prefer E-Staff 5 for looks tho
How to obtain e-staffs 58? I am trying to find e-staff 5~8. Well I heard there are few ways. Gachapon and Crimson Wood Keep PQ. But is there other ways as well? Since I am not NX user and unfunded I find CWK PQ as only chance for me but nobody is doing the PQ in these days.....:/ So any other ways?
Finally got the e-staff. Some of you might know me already that I have been searching e-staff for 5months. Today I got one with e-staff1 m.a 120. :) So happy. (Bought it in 130m and I consider it was good deal since e-staff is deflating but the drop rate is low and still expensive and it is 120m.a :) ) Well, I used legendary 70%s and 1 AEE scrolled it. and it is 131 M.A now. A lot better than my 154 M.A reverse. :) I think I can use this for a long time, or maybe for ever since I am poor. :p

Anyone else having this glitch too? (If similar question is already posted then my apologies) So... while 'Grand Light Aura' and 'Rune' buff is on, and when you use Battle Burst, the character is unable to move and stuck at the spot. But apparently it releases when you use different attack skill or buff....It is not a big deal, but it is quite annoying.... :/ I am not sure if it is just me or if other Battle Mage players is experience this glitch. Anyone else having this glitch too? Thank you in advance.
