Is this a good computer I'm building my own desktop computer. I have the essentials picked out (minus a monitor, ATX cover, audio card) and I was just wondering if this is a pretty good computer: [url=http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N
Is there a way to test all the parts of my computer? I recently built my first computer and everything seems to run fine. But then I started wondering, "what if I think everything is running fine and in all actuality I did something wrong and it's only working for now". So, I was wondering. If there any way for my computer to test all of it's internal parts and make sure they're all working correctly? I consider myself somewhat computer savvy when it comes to the actual computing, but when it comes to hardware, I'm pretty blind. Any help is greatly appreciated <3 Damn wrong section, sorry, it's a habit.

Building a computer question I decided to build my own PC. Ive already purchased all of the parts and they're being delivered in the next week. The one question I have is can I do an initial boot using a wireless keyboard? I bought wireless without noticing and I'm not sure if it'll work. I plan on putting Ubuntu on it, if that matters. I just want to know so I can pick up a wired keyboard from my parents when i visit them this weekend. Any help is appreciated!
Buying a laptop, no idea what to look for I know the basics of computer buying. Like ram, storage space, GHz, blah blah blah. But other than that, I'm kind of at a loss at more of the technical stuff. And my biggest concern is that I have no idea what kind of laptop to buy. Kind, as in, maker. As for (loose) specifics here's what I'm hoping to get; An SSD. I don't know if they're available on laptops because I just found out about them minutes ago. That's why I'm making this thread. A good video card. I sometimes use the HDMI hookup in my current laptop to my HDTV. The graphics card I have now is an NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT and I think it's fine. Although, I have no idea on how much better I could get, nor do I know how "good" this

Problems with laptop monitor (possibly) About half a year ago I noticed that every so often my laptop would suddenly get this odd vibrating look to it and then stop almost a few seconds later. It happened periodically and it wasn't that much of a bother so I didn't think anything of it. However, since it first happened it's slowly gotten worse and worse to the point where it happens about 25% of the time and it sometimes makes the screen unreadable. Here's a video I found with similar problems At first if I gave my laptop a shake it would fix it, but now it's gotten so bad that I sometimes find myself shaking it violently trying to get it to stop. I read the comments on the video which I
