Thoughts on Nintendo and Youtube Nintendo's announced a beta program to allow youtubers to do let's plays and other videos on nintendo games and monetize them, conditionally. My thoughts on this can be summed up in this article: I want your opinions of 1) the article and 2) if you think the publicity that youtubers and streamers give to games helps to improve sales or whether it hurts them. It's my assertion that Nintendo is missing a huge opportunity to help boost their sales and exposure by limiting this so much. Another interesting article showing how youtube helps indie developers: I think large companies like Nintendo could benefit from this, too.
