Which processor will be better for me? Soo...I'm building a new computer, mostly to play games like Dirt and stuff, but my sister is occasionally going to edit videos and use Photoshop on it. Now umm...back to the thread's topic, i picked up an i7 2600k because I heard it was better for video rendering and stuff, but since I would be using the computer for gaming a lot more than my sister, I'm starting to think that an i7 3770k would be better for our computer. I'm just wondering how much better a 3770k is better for gaming than a 2600k. *Note, I can just return my 2600k for a 3770k

How much Ram is needed for gaming? I'm buying a laptop (laptop over a desktop because laptops are portable, and so are far more convenient for school) for the first time and I was deciding between this and this and I'm seeking advice because I'm not sure which one to get anymore, and of course, the biggest concern is whether 8gb will be enough for gaming and if it is, whether the larger battery on the 2nd laptop, along with its other features would make up for it, I really like the 1920x1080 displays on bot

How good of a computer can I get? So, my dad has allowed me to spend $1500 on buying a gaming computer; however, I am not quite sure which parts I should buy. So I have come to Basilmarket's computer-techy-wiz people for help :D (I've already decided that I want a 21"+ monitor with 1920 x 1080 resolution or higher, maaaybe an SSD like this, and this extra hard drive, and as good as a graphic card as I can get on my budget. A good, high quality video editing program? So uumm it takes an immense amount of time to render videos in 2K res (I choose 2k res because it looks amazing fullscreen, and feels better watching than 1080p), but sony vegas Pro 10.0 only uses about 350MB of RAM, when I have a lot more that I could use (I think I have 32GB because it was on sale, buy 1, get 1 75% off so YOLO :P) My friend said that video rendering is dependent on your RAM, so I was wondering if there are any programs that can take advantage of all of my RAM, Too lazy to read? :O video editing software please, i7 2600k /w 32GB 1333Hz RAM NOTE: my CPU goes to about 94-100% at about 45 degrees celsius, ohh and will I have to overclock my turbo clock speed on my CPU for thi
