Phantom Attack Patterns What move combinations do you guys use in different situations?
Bossing Tips for Phantom As the title states. I know that phantom isn't the strongest class, but if I do want to boss with it, what are some tactics that we use?
Phantom upgrade I'm starting to fund my phantom, and I'm looking to do it in the cheapest way possible. I've got a decent attack cane and some good rings; I was wondering if the 5 set Mystic set (from the Silent Crusade questline) is better compared to buying 6% luk tempest pendant, ring etc.? The 5 set gives about 20 weapon attack and 21 all stat, but the tempest set would give me 24% stat... is it worth it to spend money on the tempest set or should I just go with the mystic set and upgrade later?
Aria Amour or Impecc Mem? Which one should I get using the special mystery mastery book from the shop?
Bossing/Training questions What's better for a boss without DR, Arrow Blaster or Final Cut + Mille? What's better for a boss WITH damage reflect I'm asking this because arrow blaster can't be easily canceled, resulting in a pretty high risk of death if boss activates DR. Mille seems more controllable, albeit weaker/less DPS? I don't know. Also, how do you train. Currently I'm using HS and Showdown (Night Lord skill) because it gives me nearly 2x exp when mobbing. Is there a better way to train than this? Thanks.
Which is better for damage? I read somewhere that the reason phantoms are rather weak is that they are deficient in weapon attack. Well, I was wondering, if I used Rage for my second job stolen slot, Channel Karma for my 3rd job stolen slot (I'm able to use a 2nd job skill in the 3rd job slot instead of a 3rd job skill), and Dark Harmony for 4th job slot, that would give me +100 weapon attack from buffs. Would that be better than Rage + Combo Attack + SE?
Where to get Canes? Hey guys, my phantom is level 108 but I noticed I'm still using a level 35 cane lol. Anyone know where I can purchase one from an npc? The fm seems to be completely lacking of phantom items..
Phantom Damage Combos Most people seem to be focused solely on Mille for damage, but Phantom has other attack skills (not to mention what he can steal from adventurers); why don't people use these other skills more often? Tempest has 400% damage, and Carte Noir is like final attack activating every critical hit so it's not like phantom does terrible damage? Then there's other buffs like Combo Attack, Rage, Dark Harmony/Sharp eyes that can be used together to power up even further... I feel like Phantom is stronger than what people give the class credit for, it just depends on how you play the class. Does anybody have opinions on this?
