basil mods, what are you guys doing? how do you determine who needs to be suspended and what needs to be deleted? I ask this because i've seen some comments/threads that are in clear violation of some rules and which have been reported but are still there. However i've also seen comments/threads be deleted today which would imply you guys are around. Why did you delete some comments before others even though the comments i'm referring to were made first? It's not like these are minor offensives, some of these people were posting nudes/offensive language/racism. You guys preach and enforce the rules but fail to do something about it even though people have reported? I understand you're busy and have your own lives but why delete some and not
new/more active mods? Obviously they have their own lives to live and that's clearly a higher priority than moderating an online forum but that being said, from what i can see, they've been relatively inactive these days (although they've been relatively active today, or at least bobr has) based on time it takes for reported inappropriate comments/threads to be deleted. I know the current mods haven't always been such an active bunch but the last couple weeks, it seems like they've been even slower. I think the community in general have been calling for new mods for awhile now, not saying the old ones need to be removed but new, more active mods couldn't hurt, especially ones that comment more, think people were wanting this as well. Now i'
what constitutes a ban? i know impersonating someone does, using multiple accounts to by pass suspensions, probably posting sexually explicit content as well but beyond that, what's the difference between what gets you suspended vs what gets you banned?
cant see my suspension details well obviously my suspension is over now but when i was suspended i had this thing hovering over my profile: when i clicked on "click here" it just redirected me to the home page, i'm just making this thread so if this is happening to anyone else/is a glitch then can start attempting to fix it. mods, by any chance do you know anything about this?
Question to the mods is it okay to share your basil account? For example, if my brother used this account for auctions while i used it for forum purposes, would that be fine? Now i guess if no one said anything then you would never know and just assume it's the same person, but out of curiosity, what would be the answer to that question? It would also be pretty easy/simple to just make a separate basil account, but i'd like an answer first. thanks in advance
Question to the mods lets say a mod gets suspended for whatever reason, does he/she still get to be a mod, if so does he/she still get to use their mod powers while suspended, i.e still suspend people, etc ? Obviously they can't post but yeah can they still use mod powers while suspended? and i'm guessing is behind this appearing on the left side of basil's home page now, already making changes, nice.
Clarification on the rules shouldn't this person have reported it directly to mr. basil through the ticket system instead of making the thread? Which should also lead to the thread being deleted or at least that's how i interpreted the rules.
what happened to those hubs at the top of the screen why did you remove them mr.b? i actually liked having them there also, can you front page the entertainment section so it can get more attention, or just completely scrap it since chat needs more threads anyways what are your thoughts on the matter? most of you probably don't care, oh well
