General Bowmaster

Reckless Hunt Bow? Just wanted to get some other bow masters' opinions on this skill. I know I'll probably be getting some people saying, "Well it depends on the situation; if you don't have to worry about taking hits you might as well use it, but if you think you'll die just toggle it off". But in my own opinion, I don't see it being worthwhile in virtually any situation. Having the skill on in most situations for me is more of a detriment than anything, as most high level monsters and bosses deal enough damage even without it on. Taking double damage for a 3% attack/damage boost (and it would be even less of a boost for well funded players) just doesn't seem worth it. And in the situations where I don't have to worry about dying

Questions about Bowmaster hypers amp more First of all I wanted to consider the effect that concentration will have on my damage. I plan on making a Mihile today to obtain the stance link skill, and alongside concentration this would allow me to have 100% stance every 2.5 out of 3.5 minutes. That's about 70% of the time that I'm attacking. So can I expect to see a pretty massive increase in my damage output from this? On a related note I've seen the latest charts for post-unlimited and bowmasters are pretty far down the list. I was wondering if dps charts like this take into account things like stance. If they don't I would imagine that bowmasters would have a lot higher dps in reality than what the charts show due to 100% stance skills. BT

What bosses can I take? I haven't played seriously in quite some time, and have been spending time on lower level characters, but I'd like to have a go at bossing. So I'm wondering, with my current level (182) and stats what can I expect to be able to do? Solo or in a party, either way. The link below shows my stats. For hypers I have hyper STR, hyper DEX, hyper DEF, hyper M.DEF, sharp eyes guard break, hurricane reinforce and boss damage, and gritty gust and concentration.

Some skill questions Ok I got some questions! Firstly, about armour break, how does it work? What is meant by dealing 100% of the enemy's defense rate? And the stacking, does that mean every time it doesn't activate it has a 10% better chance to activate with the next attack? And somewhat related in the stacking, how often does focused fury stack? I was also wondering about what the other BMs out there use for mobility while training. Do you just stick with double jump, or does anyone make use of hook and covering fire? I personally see those two as being more useful when you have to get away from mobs but I wanna hear your opinions on how to best get around a map.

Uses of Gritty Gust? Hey people I just reached 170 recently and now that I have gust I'm wondering when it really comes in handy. Mainly, is it worth using while bossing? My guess is no in 1v1 seeing as it deals 4000 % and 200 % every second after that, while if my calculations are correct, using hurricane alone with AFA would do ~3300 % per second. I can see it being useful at bosses like zakum and horntail. What else is it good for? If you want to jump into the middle of a bunch of mobs and blast it maybe, but I can't think of many situations when I would stand in the middle of a bunch of mobs.

Enchanted Quiver Worth It? Title basically says it all, but the reason why I ask the question is because it only lasts 30 seconds. Having stop attacking to re-cast it every 30s seems like it may be more trouble than it's worth. So I want to hear why it is or isn't worth re-casting whether you're bossing or training, or w/e. On a related note, is binding shot worth it as well? Is the reduction in speed/healing that good? Would I want to use it every 10s (I think that's the cooldown)? And which bosses would it be best for?

Normal Magnus Strategy Hey I'm wondering if anyone has useful strategies for soloing normal magnus. I have ~440k range and for the past few days I've tried unsuccessfully to solo magnus. It seems that I should be able to do it within the allotted time, but I just die so many times that I run out of time to kill him. I lock red arrows and try to stay within the blue area, using turret and hurricane, but as the zone shrinks, I either fall within range of his knock-back skill and get hit into an intsa-kill ball, or in my attempts to avoid one of his insta-kill skills, I get hit by some other insta-kill thing. Any help is appreciated :3
