Areas With Potential Nexon said that they would like to hear more from their players when developing updates. What areas of MapleStory do you think have potential to be re-vamped? I think instead of re-vamping jobs we should re-vamp areas. No one is ever going to be satisfied with their job because they'll always point to another that can do something as well or better then complain about it but if we re-vamped some of the areas instead I think that would be great. For example, I think adding in a Pierce, Slash and Smash stat would be nice. Just like how certain monsters resist certain types of magics (holy, fire, ice) there could be different types of physical attacks. Depending on the boss or the monsters, certain people will excel in oth

Which Legend Da Bess Which of the new classes Kaiser, Angelic Buster, Luminous is the best? I haven't been playing MapleStory because let's face it the game has gone to hell but I figure I want to get another 200 so I'm going to do play one of these new classes. I want someone that I can funnel NX into to do a lot of damage and make other people want to play that class (that's not even a joke). Or, should I just pick up Phantom and keep going? I sort of liked that class before but I never kept up with it.

Phantom Job Skills and Gameplay Who else has seen them? Here is a direct quote: "Now here’s the part you’ve been waiting for, how does the Phantom’s ability to steal skills even work? Well, it’s actually very simple! First, you use your beginner skill Steal Skill. Your mouse will turn into a cross hair, this is called Steal Mode! You must then click on an Adventurer in your map (yup, you can only steal skills from Adventurers)! Clicking on an adventurer will open up the Target Skill window. This is where you choose which skills you want to steal! There are a couple of drawbacks, you cannot steal passive skills or summons. Also, you can only steal skills from jobs in which you have gotten points into the Talent of Phantom Thief

The Reason Why Ms is Failing I'm just curious as to why people think MapleStory is falling apart. Regardless of your personal opinion on whether or not the game is still good, I think we can all agree that the game's popularity has taken a slide downward so let's discuss why. I think what's happening is that bosses are too easy to defeat now. You might ask how that possibly leads to the breakdown of a game but I'll help you answer that. When MapleStory came out with it's first big boss: Zakum, it took an entire guild to take down. Gradually, we've gotten bigger and bigger bosses which, for a time, required more people to combat but that didn't last long. The reason why is because we continually have our jobs upgraded to become more powerful

What's Your Motivation? I've played this game since BETA but I can't really figure out why I continue playing or what the heck my motivation is for this this game. I've got a bunch of fourth job characters, all level 140+ and I've funneled so much real money into this game that it's kind of depressing to think about. But why do we keep doing it? I wouldn't say I'm addicted because I have stopped playing this game on the drop of a dime, I wouldn't say that I'm particularly ambitious either since none of my characters have ever hit the 180+ mark, and I can't say that I have a huge responsibility to play because well... this is just a game. So why do I, why do we keep coming back to play? I guess for me it's the opportunity to meet and make ne

6th Anniversary Scroll Prices (Inflate or Deflate)? I'm really tempted to stock up on 6th Anniversary Scrolls and sell them after the event but I'm hesitant. Do you guys believe the scrolls prices will rise or decrease and which do you believe will be the best to buy? What I'm wondering is does the fact that they destroy your item upon failure deter people from using them because they're only 20% or will people scroll an item with 1 or 2 consecutive ones, land them, then Pink + White scroll the rest of the way and Enhance +8 with protective scrolls?
