Physics Question Help A shuffleboard disk is accelerated to a speed of 5.8 m/s and released. If the coefficient of kinetic friction between the disk and the concrete court is .31, how far does the disk go before it comes to a stop? The courts are 15.8m long. I am only allowed to use the following method: Use summation of forces in both directions (x and y) to find the acceleration and plug that into one of the kinematic motion equations to find the displacement. Known Information: Initial Velocity = 5.8 m/s Final velocity = 0 m/s Miu = .31

Do you think this is fair? Well I am going to summer school P.E for my P.E credits. My sister took it and said that you have to run a mile everyday which I am okay with. The only problem is that your grade is based on your mile time. I don't run that fast of mile times but I thought they would grade based on effort and comparing them to previous mile times. I just wanted Basil's opinion. Lots of parents complain but they ignore them. Edit: I am not taking summer school P.E. because I failed it. I just want to get it out of the way for the actual school year.

How to speed up the healing of a sprained ankle So about 4 weeks ago I sprained my ankle. I've been doing the normal protocol of R.I.C.E but when searching online on how to actually heal it faster I found that ice may actually pro-long the healing process. There has been many mixed information online. I have been wearing an ankle brace for about 2 weeks now but I have tennis matches coming up and I want it healed ASAP. Is there anyone else who has gotten a sprain and knows actually how to heal this thing?

So I have to redo my Ap Calculus Exam I found out today that the day before the last day of school I have to retake this exam. I want to see if you guys find the justification for our school having to retake the exam appropriate. In between the free response and multiple choice you take a 10 min break. So before school our calc teacher said we could come into her room during that time for a snack. But apparently this was outside the "break area" so at the end of the free response we had to take a survey basically interrogating us if we overheard people discussing the exam. The thing is the proctors didn't tell us where we could and could not go and the principal pretty much watched us walk to her room. No one informed the teacher
