Currently at work wasting my life It's currently 4:30PM right now and I have about an hour or so until I'm off work. I'm an android developer at a medium sized company and it seriously feels like a waste of my life. You just sit at a desk for the whole day, staring at a screen and pretty much googling stuff. How to fight someone who is 4 inches taller than you? Im about to get in a situation where I might have to fight someone who is taller than me by 4 inches He is heavier than me but pretty sure its just fat. I have more cardiovascular endurance and stamina. Should I just go for quick jabs and pull out combos? I was thinking of engaging him constantly to tire him out without having to wrestle him or fight him on the ground. Any advice would be nice
UPDATE Got my ass beat but Im about to be sued This is 100% real. If you haven't seen my last thread I got into a fight today with someone bigger than me. As expected, I was a better boxer than him, and I spent about 5 or 10 minutes doing 1-2-jab combos and tiring him out. But in the end he just put all his weight and took me down. He pretty much started to ground and pound me for a while but I got out. Here's where the problem starts... When we were wrestling on the ground, I accidentally dug my thumb pretty deep into his eye sockets. It was his left eye and I'm pretty sure I went in an inch or two into his eyes. Thank god its Saturday. Sucks having a 9 to 5 job Title. I can finally relax in my air conditioned house and kick back and do some much needed gaming. Slaving away monday to friday at a job just to get paid medium salary sucks. But I guess that's life. I don't have any crazy aspirations to be rich, but I sometimes wish I didn't have to work for the rest of my life. At the same time though, I feel like without work, I would feel lost. Today is the day of the fight Well guys, it looks like it's happening. I read through all of your comments on my other thread. Thank you to the people that replied: I made up my game-plan: 1. I'm going to keep my distance. However, since he is taller than me, he has a longer reach and so I HAVE to dodge him when he strikes me. 2. At the beginning of the fight I'm going to throw out 1-2-jab combos and just see how he reacts. 3. When he goes for a strike, I'm going to sway -> duck then go in for some body shots or potentially the chin if he lets his guard down. 4. If he takes me down to the ground, I'll be pretty screwed so I'm going to avoid any wrestling or clenches he might put me in. Alright wish me luck. I took some preworkout and now I'
