Help with sculpture assignment Hi guys, I need to create a public art piece (so, something with the intention of being placed in the public... ex. a sculpture of chained animal representing being caged may be put in a zoo, etc.). I don't actually, have to put my piece in a certain place... I just have to explain what my intention is. Anyways, I need help with generating ideas, it can literally be anything. Of course, I'm only going to make something I feel strongly about. I can basically use any material (but, as a university student, I'm on a budget :P). Preferably Clay, wire, maybe steel, plaster, Styrofoam, paper mache, etc. Personally, I want to make a paper mache globe thing (with a coating of some sort), except it will basically be...

ART project ideas help Hey guys, I need your help with ideas again. For those who helped last time, Thankyou for the suggestions, it ended up pretty successful! Anyways, this time I have to do a project that critiques our society in the style of Banksy (note I'm Canadian, so please nothing about Trump lol, UNLESS you can justify me into doing something about him). So this time, it doesn't require much skill, rather it's more based on the idea/ use of colours :P. Here are some, I guess, rules. 1. Art project for school, need help Ok so I'm planning to paint and draw this: I really like the drawing and all and the feeling of helplessness/ isolation, but it seems to blank and easy, is there any suggestions as to what I should add or use of technique. Or maybe another suggestion to another thing to draw? Ideas and suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks :) (If this helps, I'm using acrylic paint- I'm also really rushed for time, so I'm like speed rushing all of it) ^or pencil crayon.. since both are easy to use, rather than oil paint, oil pastels, etc.. from experience takes forever to clean and is kind of hard to use.

ART project idea help Hi guys! I need your help for ideas on an art project. Here is the assignment: "The student will use observation to create an orthographic section (so I assume that's like half of something from different angles and stuff) of a still-life object or an animal revealing a surprising or disturbing interior (e.g., a steam-powered mechanism inside a turtle). " Here are a few that I was thinking about, but am not too into it. -Half of a pomegranate with the seeds replaced with fish eggs lol. -Some weird stuff dealing with a seashell -Top of the human head cut open, showing space/ galaxy stuff... some cliche "imagination is limitless". Anyways, my prof also showed a bunch of mechanical animals, but I'm not
