Not sure if laptop is Hey guys, this morning I plugged the charger in for my laptop and smoke started coming out of where you plug it in (made a frying noise) so my question is, is my laptop gone forever or was it just a short circuit? laptop is a dell inspiron and would it be better if I just got a new laptop or go to a computer repair shop to fix it (i called one near my house and they said it would cost $150-250) (i bought the laptop for 300) Thanks :~( edit: the battery itself died a couple of months ago and the charger was plugged into 24/7.... my brother took it out last night and this morning ^^^^ that happened lol
