Both calves keep hurting? Well, lately when the weather hit about 60 degrees, I started playing basketball more frequently. Now, the first day I played my calves didn't hurt. But, the next day I played, both of them hurt. The pain is hard to describe, but it feels like the calves were just weak. The day after, I put ice on them. As I applied ice, I felt a shocking pain in my calves. I also applied Mineral Ice. I took a week off and rested. So, I went back and played basketball again. My legs felt really good the first day. But, the next day I can feel them getting weaker. I usually stay pretty hydrated and I always stretch. Now the question I'm asking is, is there any particular reason my calves are hurting?

Best way to recover from an ankle sprain? If you pause at about 2:18, you can see the ankle injury. I suffered from a similar ankle injury and was wondering how to recover from it. There's no pain in my ankle and it's been 3-4 months since I've sprained it. But, the problem is it is still swollen. Due to my ankle being swollen, it makes it harder for me to make sharp cuts and crossovers in basketball/football. I went to the doctor and all he gave me was a steroidal injection/Cortisone shot. He said he can't do much more. I was wondering what the best way to recover from this ankle sprain is.
