Just keep trying, you'll learn how to dodge his only few attacks.
Go under him when he goes in the air using the attack that OHKOs both sides.
Try and quickly move away if he's doing the side by side pushback attack (75% of the time he'll knock you into an orb).
Move away from him when he's up in the air and about to stab the ground.
And his dashing attack doesn't do too much damage.

Just make sure you don't have an HP/MP healing familiar out cause they will screw you up since their heals count towards pot cooldown.

l pretty much do the same damage as you (800ks ~ 1.2 mils) and depending on how many times l die, l can kill him with 14 minutes left or 6 minutes left. You just have to constantly be on the lookout for orbs when his HP is less than 50%.
However, personally, l haven't gotten a single Nova drop from him yet out of the few six times l've fought him.

well that's probly y u can beat him u hav to doge them really fast. if u hav any rush skill use them to move before the orbs touch u

There's a quest from the nova woman. You know that tent in the helisium camp? Go in the tent, and the nova lady should have a quest for you. It's called magnus stimulator or something like that.
To do easy Magnus, there should be a portal on the right side of the tent in the helisium camp.

i dont even have an option for easy magnus. only normal and hard

Have you tried EASY magnus? I heard he drops it at a lower rate than normal magnus, and at a higher rate than Treglow.

Treglow drops nova stuff, but at an incredibly low drop rate. Trying farming him during 2x and maybe with a coupon as well.

I was hoping to farm Velderoth and hope to get the hyades shoes or cape. I cant kill normal magnus yet

normal magnus has pretty high drop rate. ive gotten equips twice out of 3 times ive done him. the other bosses ive been doing them for a month and nothing

I'm thinking they meant the other bosses aswell, like Treglow and the other two.
