Go for both, nova equips drops from easy mode Magnus, and there is 3 parts, cape, boot, belt. You can also use the shadow coin he drops to buy the nova cape and boot in 2 and a half month if he doesn't manage to drop it by then(faster if you do daily quest too).
You can only get reinforced pendant and belt from killing hard Gollux, you can get the reinforced Earring and ring by farming coins from the shoulder, abs.
It should take you 2 months to get enough coins to buy reinforced Gollux earring, ring and the gollux scrolls if you get 9 coins per day minimum.

In a ideal situation you can wear reinforced gollux pendant, reinforced gollux belt, reinforced gollux ring, reinforced gollux earring, Nova cape, and Nova boots all at the same time.
Nova belt at 8 stars is worst than a perfected Reinforced belt. Nova equips has no set effect.

I usually use a 30% spell trace on a nova and then enhance it with regular enhancement scrolls and if it somehow hits 7 stars I might consider psoking it and selling it.

Nova gears are pretty bad. I usually throw mine away because psoking it and selling it costs more than the price itself

Easy gollux is actually pretty easy and you should try (I'm fairly sure you could be able to solo easy gollux)
Even if you can't, you can still farm gollux coins to get the reinforced/superior equips
Getting any reinforced earring/ring can earn you ~750m+. I'm not sure how much nova equips are right now, but I think selling those equips right now are the better choice.
