I don't see why we wouldn't.
As previous folks have stated. Use a rosary and you still get all the defense benefits of a 1hnd paladin.
Secondaries count as shields. So yes.
Yeah. You still have OP Defense
With a 2h I still take almost no damage at warrior grounds.
