Top 3 quothurricanequot type classes?

Well I learned that I enjoy really fast attacking classes with "hurricane" type skills. I tried to google it and couldnt really find anything up to date. I would like to know the top 3 and then I can pick one from it and play and fund it. PS ill be on reboot which is another reason why I want to do this, i can actually fund it to end game

@chefcarte i see, its so cool seeing the high funded phantoms do so well its motivating. The only problem is in reboot im having troibles making any progress i just want to have a stronger class overall that can be good all around

@akiro: attack speed makes up for lack of damage especially once you get 100% crit, but if you want godly dps then itll take alot of work

@chefcarte well is it worth it being on reboot trying to fund one to get up there? I find mine fairly fun its just the dmg sucks and its discouraging.

@akiro: like the guy mentioned you need at least 200bil funding for phantom to start scaling. From my personal experience the DPM unfunded is alright since the damage per line isnt very high- the insane number of hits make up for it though but just make it average at best but once you pour in 200 bil you hit super hard per line and super fast so your DPM becomes insane

@piana i just kinda meant liek i can take a little break and do other things on a different char. I mainly just dont want to have too many up there that need to be well funded.

@ieatrice08 thanks for the info. Everytime someone says that about phantoms it always makes me want to try to stick it out but so far im not sure what to do or where to start.

End game for funded hurricane classes:

*Phantom*
-Godly Utility (steal skills, counter any boss with a specific stolen skill build, able to play any role, tons of invincibility w/ sancro/finalcut/joker , free revival skill
-very very high dodge rate (good in all bosses even with hp% attacks since touch damage and other attacks still factor dodge), very good sustain (when using bishop heal or drawing heal card from judgment draw/joker),
-Amazing mobility (pdr debuff backstep blink, shroudwalk, move while attacking)
-Incredibly powerful FUNDED DPM (top tier and strongest of hurricane classes) once it gets 200+bil funding due to how well they scale with funds from final damage/crit damage (phantom is currently at 900k range 300% boss hitting 72mils perline on cartenoir/joker on non pdr bosses with lvl 3 nodes and thats not even accounting for them having an insane amount of lines. They have constant roughly 3-4 line hurricanes with tempest/mille in conjunction to carte noir/judgement draw and 50-55lines per second when using joker).
-They pretty much rival the 3L hurricane of wh with mille/tempest in terms of number of hits and don't require any setup
-Weak damage per line without funds however, so not the best option in terms of damage for unfunded, BUT they have tons of utility/mobility so still good at bossing unfunded

**************************************************************************************************************************
Early/Mid game for hurricane classes:

*Wind Archer*
-High base damage% on hurricane skills with high amount of lines
-Boss% passives and damage increase passives
-Good mobility with windwalk
-Great mobbing with trifling wind and other mobbing skills
-Lack final damage however, so their scaling into the late game isn't that great, but still not bad- even late game they still will be decent on funded DPM rankings
-Rest of hurricane classes aren't very good for DPS (bowmaster is like phantom without final damage scaling) but can still be decent bossers since bowmaster has good sustain with quiver, mercedes have good mobility, and etc so play the classes out not by damage but playstyle

@piana im good i wanna play for fun lol. Thats the thing about phantom that keeps me going but it'll take so long to get there its discouraging a bit because of meso farming and what not but maybe ill get a 2nd main and be able to do it?

@wellness i'd love to but with link mules taking up so much space i dont have much room left sadly i havent bothered expanding my char slots much otehr then a few from events plus id like tyo know a bit more about htem too like dmg, funding curve and so on because like with my phantom i dont want to be super weak

@akiro: Oh well. Try out all the hurricane classes. That's the thorough option so you can get a "feel" for them.

I don't know, but Zero is my favorite class. WH looks kind of fun out of the hurricane classes, though. It rides magnificent beasts.

@piana thanks for the extra info. I'm kinda curious about jett just because everyone says they're bad and what not. I have a phantom and ill usually play it for a bit then be like weaksauce then go back to it in a few weeks but i'm hoping for something that is stronger and cant do great late game. Also Kinesis seems interesting since theyre often top of the DPM charts but idk how i feel about mages still

@akiro: Oh I don't know about any specifics, should ask someone who actually experienced 5th job of both.

Also I don't think BM has a puppet skill. WA's puppet is kind of mediocre as I heard. MM has the good puppet, but they don't do hurricane.

I think going with WA is best once you have training in mind, BM has another skill for mobbing which isn't like hurricane at all. WA's hurricane seems like an all-purpose skill.

@beefly i see interesting. real question tho which is more buggy tho ive been hearing lots about arrow platter lately. I assume they mean they have a puppet skill, arrow rain-esk skill? but WA 5th looks sick while BM is well just nostalgic for me so its a hard decision haha.

@akiro: 5th job just introduced a bunch of other skills to diversify their gameplay, or just got rid of it all together (rip mechanic).

I think you'd like BM or WA I think they have 5th job skills that you activate and they just add to your hurricane-skill damage. WA has some delicious eye candy with it's multi hurricane skill, but BM is less of a hassle to deal with, also BM has a hurricane-like turret.

See for yourself.
WA: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wZvD395leKg
BM: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8lU52gtn7is

People say WA is like the old BM, I don't know what that means since I never played an old BM. I just know WA are infamous for having the most active buffs of all jobs.

@beefly is that true, has 5th job really changed the game that much? I kinda took a break until reboot came out but that didnt last that long and have been playing on and off since but not paying attention to updates or anything. I also came back recently for 5th job and now i wanna try to get to end game. I actually want to play maple again tho which is a nice change compared to playing league so much.

I just realized, a lot of jobs are phasing out of that type of gameplay.
And since you said top 3, I'm guessing you're talking about high tier DPM?

So you're only option is Wind Archer.

There's also Bowmaster, Corsair, Wild Hunter, Mercedes, and Phantom, but should only pick them if you like their gameplay over their damage. Though should mention the tiers always change, and the way I see it BM hasn't really changed places much.
