@sirkibblex2: As a D2 fan I can agree with your comment.

It's fun for a few weeks and I never come back until the next huge patch.

Gameplay gets repetitive. Really repetitive. There wasn't much incentive to reach endgame since the gameplay didn't really change from beginning to end. You'll be fighting endgame mobs nearly the same way as you were early game, just with better gear. Well, there might be some variation with all the different set bonuses and combinations but that wasn't enough to keep me entertained. Unless you plan on starting the game with some friends, you may as well consider it a solo-game as the social scene is near non-existent.

It's been about a year and a half since I've quit that game so my thoughts on it may be outdated.
