Help with Microsoft word 2007

I have a lot of word documents on my laptop, but when I click on them to open them, or try to open them from Windows Explorer, Word opens up blank. Like, Word does open up but there isn't even a white page. To access these docs, I have to open Word and then choose a file to open from there. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Try reseting your normal template.
If you are unsure on how to do this just google "reset microsoft word normal template"

That is strange, try right clicking on the file you want to open and go to "open with" and make sure its on Microsoft word?

To be honest, i'm not sure what you can do about that but all I can suggest is reinstalling it. Maybe there's an update that you missed or just bad compatibility? Hope it gets solved.
