Attack Speed and Soul Seeker

Recently I had the fortune of obtaining dSI Gloves, and am absolutely loving them. Combined with MPE Green Potions, this gives an incredible boost to damage output.

However, I feel like Soul Seeker isn't being affected as much as it used to. Before the first AB nerf, when I was training at LHC, I had the fortune of training with alongside a Buccaneer, and felt the amazing power of SI combined with 4-orb Soul Seeker. Comparing that to dSI + MPE Green Potions + 2-orb post-rebuff Soul Seeker, it just doesn't feel as fast.

Am I crazy, or is the speed at which Soul Seeker orbs are being thrown out considerably slower than before?

There is no neb for Decent Speed Infusion to my knowledge.
It comes from lv120+ gloves that are legendary.
It gives +1 rather than the +2 attack speed normal Speed Infusion provides.
uh wat's a dSI?
Decent SI. Not the real Speed Infusion. The skill can be acquired from nebs and unique or legendary potential from 120+ gloves.
With that dSI and Green MPE Pot, I can feel the speed difference with Roar and Trinity.
With Seeker on the other hand, it might be there or it not be, I can't really tell.
Hit the nail on the head. I can't feel the difference in casting speed for Seeker, although there's a huge difference for everything else.
The current rate of soul seeker regeneration is 93% (95% if hyper is additive)
On release, the regeneration rate was 88% (90% if additive)

This is a very modest ~6% increase, which is pretty negligible.

On release, the base speed of soul seeker was 990 ms.
At faster (3), this is effectively 810 ms, a little less than 20% faster.

Currently, the base speed of soul seeker is 810 ms.
At faster (3), it should become 660 ms, about 18.5% faster.

The speed boost becomes >5% less effective, but still pretty negligible.

Old soul seeker procured 4 orbs every 990 ms, which is effectively 4.05 orbs/second
Old soul seeker procured 4 orbs every 810 ms with your speed boosts, so about 4.93 orbs/sec
Now, soul seeker procures 2 orbs every 810 ms at base, so about 2.47 orbs/sec
With the speed boost, it becomes 3.03 orbs/sec.

So with 4.05 >> 4.93 orbs/second regenerating at 88% vs 2.47 >> 3.03 orbs/second regenerating at 93%.

Obviously on release it would've felt much faster just because of the sheer amount of orbs, in tandem with them being unlimited in their regenerations. You were getting an extra orb about every second before, and now you're getting an extra orb every 2 seconds. But the increase has remained constant at about 20% when you go from base speed to Faster (3)

...It occurred to me that our actual base speed is actually 5 and Normal (6), but they should be proportionately equal.
Hmm, the numbers don't lie, but the casting speed just doesn't feel as fast.
