Confused on bossing
Hey guys, I'm trying to get a few tips on bossing. When is the recommended level for Evans? I know it'd be past 160, which brings me to my next question. Is Illusion or Blaze better? I don't think I've ever seen an Evan use Blaze, so is there something wrong with it?
One last thing, is an empress staff worth buying, or should I buy another type of staff? Fafnir is out of my options, thank you

Thanks all. I'll try what you all recommend. So overall, are we good/bad/decent bossers?
illusion bossing
fw on flat training
blaze everywhere else
And go emp staff if you cant go fafnir. Set bonuses help way more than the elemental boost JUST to fire.
@ArchZach: I usually go with my guild for Cygnus. I hit around 860k normal and 1.2 crit on normal mobs. On bosses it's more like 900-1m normal and 1.5m crits with phantom imprint. My range is 140k with self buffs no hypers. Also I forgot to mention use elemental decrease on bosses like Hilla or the Root Abyss bosses as it allows us to hit our normal damage and not halved damage because their resistance.
Blaze range is like crap compare to Reflection and Chain Lightning
Does blaze hit on all zak's arms? Since it's a chain ?
No I tried it only hits like 3-4 for me stupid blaze can't chain
Does blaze hit on all zak's arms? Since it's a chain ?
@kooless Thanks! You can fight Cygnus? And btw, how much do you hit per line of Illusion?
We're pretty decent. When I go bossing I first cast the shroud, resistance and soul stone so I have party buffs out of the way (don't forget the hyper skill buff when you unlock it!). When actually fighting the boss I cast phantom imprint for the extra damage. For attacks it depends on the boss, if the boss has multiple parts like Zakum I use flamewheel to get his arms then illusion for the body. If the boss is a single mob like Cygnus I just use illusion. The only thing bringing us down is no status resistance and low amount of hits on our main 1v1.
P.S: Also cast killer wings so your attacks are focused on the boss and not the mobs it may summon!
Oh I thought blaze was a 1v1 skill as well. Alright thanks, and I heard we're pretty decent? o.o
Evans aren't that great at bossing.
I'd imagine that illusion would be the best skill for 1vs1 and if you wanted to hit multiple targets (zakum's arms), you'd use blaze.
