Fp vs IL 4 bossing

I made this thread in the mage section but it's been like 3 days no response. I'm currently a lvl 163 bishop in reboot. Getting bored bish I wanna switch to a either IL or fp which ever is the best bosser? Any input would be great and I mean best bosser with the all the nerfs that are taking place right now.

Play an I/L, only because F/P skills are really ugly.

Take in mind it's hard to get consistent DOTs on F/P. You have to know the cool down for each dot for when to apply as well as CD for mist eruption for efficient damage. Many bosses have phases where you can't hit it with DOTs so you have to have a time where DOTs are all lined up correctly, the boss is standing in the mist and you cast eruption while not on cooldown. Then you have to time your paralyze casting so that you are still dealing damage while waiting for ME to reset and knowing if one of the DOTs have worn off or not. Easiest way is to cast DOTs every time after ME but that would not be maximizing DPM output at all since you would be neglecting the damage from paralyze.

Overall to be efficient at F/P you have to have really good control with attacks, avoids and teles while timing everything on key. It's not just a spam one spell class to keep up DPM which gets really frustrating. However if you get everything right they deal ridiculous dmg even after the nerf.

go for FP. ILs are the worst.

F/P has higer damage (versus bosses, at least), but is considered 'tedious' by many; all you have to do to maximize your damage is inflict 5 different types of DoTs (damage of time, like poison or burn), which isn't hard (Paralyze, Flame Haze and the Poison Mist it spawns, Teleport Mastery and either Poison Breath or Oz's Flame Gear), but isn't very exciting either.

I/L is a lot simpler to use and has better mobbing. They also might be the better option in the long run since F/P gets nerfed quite a lot (although Nexon randomly decided to begin buffing them again) and I/L should remain fairly stable overall.

In the end, play what you like. Both are great bossers either way.

F/P are still highly regarded for bossing, if you know how to do the DoT (which I'm sure isn't that hard to do).
I/L are easier and I like them more and they're great at mobbing too.

Play what you like.
