They said they don't go on sale until after the start of September, so we'll probably be seeing them in stores soon. But yes, go ahead and use up the old ones, they're the same as they always were.
Yes, yes you can.
NX cards will stop being sold eventually, but if you have one; the code on it will still work. I'm going to buy some NX cards today, I'm not worried.
Karma Koin cards are brand new; I'm not even sure any store has them for sale yet.
