Important rule on how to prevent ksing
So it has happened again! Maplers everywhere across GMS is getting 2x exp and drop today. It is truly a blessing in some ways and in other views... its mere chaos. The essence of a non structured government can be seen greatly. Whoever has more friends and power can generally hold a map for themselves without worrying much. But for regular maplers, just follow this one tip and you'll be sorta fine.
If someone enters your map, don't assume they are ksers! And by that, I mean telling them to "cc pls" before they even lay a finger on your mob.
I don't care how nice you phrased it with your please or cherry on top. It is annoying and just plain disrespectful. Why?
Well your basically labeling them as a kser before they even attempted anything! Most of us do not like being judged by strangers let alone be judged poorly by some random pixel (your not a pixel literally but on ms strangers are just really pixels to most ppl).
For ex: If a person is walking near you and you start spouting out "PLS DONT ROB ME!", that would infuriate them and might lead them to robbing you for the hell of it. No one likes being seen as a criminal or for our case, a "killstealer."
So don't get upset when they actually ks you, because your labeling them into a particular category. Its only logical that they follow the role you have entrusted upon them =P With that said goodluck to all maplers during this event. I am well aware that this would not solve most problems but this would help out a little bit.

That is a very important point. I would like to thank for you pointing it out. For you most of us when planning to ks, we don't really see the others as equal. Just hindrances to our lvls. So by talking to ur kser and letting them know your just not another mere pixel, but a human being behind the screen, they will have a more guilty conscience when ksing. Of course its not fullproof, some ppl are just jerks, but it does help in many ways!

If you thought these locations were bad during 1x, why would you go during a time where EVERYONE wants to go there?
If your map has a mini-dungeon, that is the best option.
Still, no matter what, steer clear of popular maps. Even if you have a full party of 6 with a Priest in tow with HS, it's still incredibly stupid to go to a popular map on 2x. No matter how good your party is, KSers WILL show up, either alone or in a group and it WILL lower your exp gain NO MATTER WHAT!
Worse yet, a hacker shows up and ruins it for everyone. Stay and fight the hack-tard and you could be banned alongside them.
Long story short, research a quiet alternative for your level (preferably with a mini-dungeon) and go there.[/quote]
Lol great point. You should make a thread too =P My thread's sole purpose is to get ppl to be more aware of this "cc plz" we have going on. I believe most maplers have the best intentions when they say cc pls but theyre not aware of what it does psychologically to the person in their map.

You my dear mapler friend have not learned much about roles in society. Roles in society isn't something so petty. But even with that said i am not justifying ksing for this particular thread. I am merely trying to help my gms maplers. I can easily write another thread to justify ksing if you want since ur clearing putting me as a kser justifier. lol
Do what I do... skip the 2x event... It's just not worth the aggravation.
The best way to prevent ks'ing is to never train lol. But to your point not saying anything works just as fine.
