Firepoisonarchmage

Ele staff 5 or 6

Which would be the best choice if I could have either one once RED arrives?
I want the best for killing bosses if that makes a difference.

I know there's only a five percent difference between the two for each element but I'd like to get the most out of what I use.

Just take whichever you can get your hands on. There's really only a 5% damage difference, which is pretty insignificant.

There have been no recent changes to elemental damage bonuses on elemental staves. For bossing, I'd go for a ES6 since Mist Eruption will be your main source of damage. If you plan on grinding on normal monsters, ES5 is probably better since you'll be mostly using Paralyze

if you're just going for bosses, 6 most likely because of the cd cutter on mist eruption making you use it as often as possible when bossing.

Elemental staff 6 would be better because main damaging move being mist eruption as well as new 4 the job poison move planting mists. Kms also got mist erupt cd removal hyper which I think we will get. Makes mist erupt spam able and it's poison. Also job skill increases total damage for stacking dot on monster also makes mist erupt stronger. So for fp estaff 6 is better. Unless you hit max damage.

They didnt remove the Elemental Dmg, so ele staff 5 would be the best for F/p mage.
(btw selling perfect one in GAZED)
I think they removed the elemental bonus damage. So the best for boss would propably be a fafnir.
Wasn't that EMS?

I imagine 5 would be best since Paralyze was changed to fire element in RED.

Really? Any update notes, extractions or screenshots of damage?
This would suck if it were true
