Is Sweet Water Worth it than Empress
Ok So my Guildmate went to the FM and thought he could buy Empress items (Which he almost did) Then he started looking at Sweet Water and saw that it is more expensive than Empress. The question here is Is Sweet Water items more Expensive than Empress Items and Which is worth getting more?
Btw he's lvl 143 or 145 So It would be great to give him some advice

I am struggling now with the prospect of having a 201 att 9% str fafnir 2HBW and a 240 att SW 2H Mace (no useful potential yet). On normal monster the SW mace hits almost 200k per line more, but on bosses I hit 100k per line more on the Fafnir due to the full set bonus giving an extra 30% boss damage. I am considering using a PDR neb on the Fafnir and waiting for another 5 star enchantment event to boost it's attack more OR saving for the next EON for a boss damage neb for the SW 2H Mace. Thoughts?
I really enjoy the feel of the SW mace not to mention it is 39 attack higher...which adds 3k to my base range. I dont want to "waste' the PDR neb but there are still many things I need to spend mesos on before a 30% boss neb becomes obtainable... Quite the connundrum. My daily routine is hard hilla, chaos zak twice, DIPQ, Krexel then I stop. I don't really have an interest in pink bean...I guess I should be focusing on farming gollux coins? I am through the first half of the labyrinth quests and now only have to hunt the drops to be able to gollux.

sweet water shouldn't be compared to empress in the first place, since it's in the same "tier" of equipment (namely end game equipment) as chaos root abyss and terminus, and when compared to those 2, sweet water suffers from inflexibility and is ultimately weaker than what CRA offers

You have move flexibility with sweet water, and more % boss clean.
Pretty much what's been said already. Fafnir weapons give a bit less attack than Terminus/SW, but is more likely to be found scrolled than Terminus/SW.
your friend should just buy fafnir instead. way cheaper than sweetater and good set effect too.

With the root abyss set becoming so cheap, I recommend getting that instead. Even the weapon isn't expensive unless its the dagger, claw, or knuckle. While in terms of raw stats the sweet water set is better, note that it takes up 6 slots and the root abyss only take up 3 (top and bottom count as 1) which leaves room for the amazing dojo gloves, and tyrant cape, and nova or tyrant shoes which makes it ideal.
Well Sweet Water is more expensive because greater set value. The Sweet Water gives great set effects however the price can be quite a pain as you noticed. While most empress items can go simply 10mil-15mil Sweet Water can go, well you don't wanna know. I'll tell you this much, if your friend has a big pocket go SW, but if he wants to go cheap go Empress.
*Side Note: I suggest not getting SW until you get a gollux set.*
