When to cube rings

I've had my Knuckle, Wrist Armour and Emblem unique for a little bit now. What's kind of potential should I be stopping on? I used to figure that I'd require them to be legendary, but I've figured that if I pour more into chances at tier ups, the money might be better spent on cubing a Unique gollux ring for % Str instead.

Should I stop once I get two decent lines on these three items? For example: a 20% boss and 9% or 6% att line?

Consider my upgrading long-term, with no immediate funds; just bossing for cubes and such.

People often say: "Cube your weapon, secondary, and emblem first." It makes sense to do that, I'm just not sure when to stop. Any less known rules of thumb you can let me know of would be appreciated.

2 decent leg lines or 3 good unique lines. For example, 21% att (9, 6, 6) at unique or 21% att at leg (12, 9).

It costs roughly 20-30k NX to get unique, 30-50k NX to get leg. Getting 2 good lines extracts roughly 21/30 = 70% of the value out of your potential tier and costs about 20k-30 NX. Going for the third line generally costs well over 100-200k NX to extract the remaining 30%, you would be better served by cubing 3-4 more legendary items instead.

I've heard legendary tier up rates with meister cubes are pretty terrible. Unique tier up rates with craftsman cubes are roughly 2-3%.

I would suggest your split your cubes. Use Black cubes to attempt to tier up your weapon potentials to leg, or settle for 3 good lines at unique.

Meanwhile use craftsman cubes to tier your epic armors to unique, then some Meister/Red cubes to get decent stats.

Stop when you have legendary pot/bpot on your main weapon, and legendary pot/epic>unique bpot on secondary and emblem. Secondaries have less resale value and emblems have none so I'm always hesitant to focus on those even though they give a pretty nifty damage increase. Gollux rings/pendents are a good place to start because they can be used by any class. Tyrants are a good place to start too.

If you're like me however, I like to slowly acquire my equips piece by piece, already perfected. Personally, I went, Weapon > Secondary > Tyrants > Gollux
