Is this a good laptop?

Im planning to buy the HP dv6z-7000

Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
AMD Quad-Core A8-4500M (3.0GHz/2.1GHz, 4MB L2 Cache)
2GB AMD Radeon(TM) HD 7730M Graphics
6GB 1600MHz DDR3 System Memory (2 Dimm)
Microsoft(R) Office Starter: reduced-functionality Word/Excel(R) only, No PowerPoint(R)/Outlook(R)
750GB 7200RPM Hard Drive
Two 9-Cell Lithium-Ion Batteries
15.6-inch diagonal HD BrightView LED-backlit Display (1366x768)
SuperMulti 8X DVD+/-R/RW with Double Layer Support
802.11b/g/n WLAN
Backlit Keyboard

Can this computer run games like starcraft 2? Also, how many hours of use approx?
The price is $840. Is this computer worth it?

I believe this is better, is it not?
The specifications are better, but it is more expensive. The coupon code I posted makes the HP dv6 a fair buy.
The specs aren't bad. Personally i wouldn't recommend buying a HP laptop. My hp laptops screen started flickering constantly after half a year of use.

I'm sorry but acer in general are garbage
OT: Get a Toshiba, I find there are problems with HP over time
All mass produced low-end laptops have problems regardless of which brand made it. There is no point in trying to recommend another brand if it doesn't solve the "problem."

It can run, but the resolution might be mehh. But I don't even know what the resolution is for Starcraft so you might be good. The hybrid system isn't bad either, but NVIDIA cards tends to outrank most of the AMD's, and the GT 640M is a really good and you're not getting a horrible laptop for that much.

But I do have to agree with @MrPebbles about the Acer being a better buy, because NVIDIA drivers, and especially the 640M is a great card in general. Look it up on Best Buy (since Newegg is out, and I'm thinking you might want to take advantage of that 360 deal) and make sure all the specs line up if you're looking into the Acer one.

Also make sure you get a hold of some customer reps about the free 360 b/c I know that in the past, well last year, Best Buy all of a sudden decided to stop the deal, and left A LOT of unsatisfied customers.
Choose one of the two below. They are not stackable.

1. Use the coupon code "NBQ1148" without the quotation marks in your shopping cart. The price will be $705.

2. Get a free 4GB Xbox 360. http://h20435.www2.hp.com/t5/The-Next-Bench-Blog/Buy-a-New-HP-PC-Get-a-Free-Xbox-360/ba-p/78385
