crit ring or stat ring
for my db: i have around 175% stat, 87 min ~ 102 max crit dmg, and 100% crit rate.
if i take off my beast tamer ring, i'd have 87 min ~ 97 crit dmg, and 95% crit rate.
so i was wondering is it better to wear a ~12% stat ring instead of the 5% crit damage beast tamer ring. crit rate is not really the problem here since db's have shadow meld which gives 100% crit rate.
i know there has been previous posts about this, but those were pretty old posts. and crit damage is getting revamped when 5th job comes out, so i was wondering does this affect anything as well.

Stat rings...specifically Gollux ones and LGR...are 100% the way to go. Everything else is a half measure.
If you have a lack of money and ambition - which is perfectly fine, you play how u want...not how others want - then maybe, maybe, the crit rings works. But...in the end...it'll always inhibit you.
