Continue Evan or Make Hero

I have a 170 Evan which has 24-26k buffed and after i saw the new hero skills thats coming out,
im wondering which one to use.

My friend can afford me lion helm and a sword and all of hero's books but Evan's damage is fairly easy to increase
Any opinios?
