Made a decision, what did I miss?

After thinking about it for days now I finally decided to come back to this game
Long story short, bored in the holiday and wanna have fun
What I want to know is what did I miss?
I haven't played since RED
I would be happy if someone told me how is the system now and if there is any changes in training
