Shads feel so clunky these days

So I hit 200 on my Shad a few years back. Training felt extremely smooth. I just started back up on Reboot a couple weeks ago and my new Shad just feels so slow attacking, awkward and clunky. The range on BStep is nice, but it attacks so slowly. I just started macro'ing it with Nate, but the delay is brutal. I've died multiple times from not being able to even pot. And because I'm on Reboot, my range is pretty doggone low at level 120, so I'm 2+hko'ing everything, and it just feels so awkward and fragile.

Am I doing it wrong, or do Shads just kind of suck these days?

Thanks guys.

Thanks, Antisenpai. Fairly certain I read that BS+Nate was the preferred combo these days, but BS+SB feels much better.

And lol yes, I'm wearing a secondary with maxed Shield Mastery. Shifter was only level 14, and I was fighting fairly hard hitting Ganapati.

I've gotten so use to A. Being pretty decently funded, and B. Playing a Xenon both pre and post nerf. Everything feels slow and fragile :-p

Don't macro with Nate, Macro it with Savage Blow, for the dying part make sure you have a secondary/shield and make sure to max shield mastery.

I suggest just killing Zakum for exp and doing the RnJ PQ to quickly propel yourself to over 130. At that point, you'll have much more points in your skills and you should begin to feel more comfortable with it.

But Shadowers have seen quite a bit of changes over the past few years. It's possible that it has become a job you don't enjoy due to such changes.
