Hdd on the verge of failing, suggestions for a new one?

I'm looking for a new internal HDD (for a desktop if I have to state this), any suggestions? I'm looking around a $100 cap (around 1 TB) on it. If there aren't any brands to avoid or that are recommended, then I will get whatever to replace my current one.

Thanks.

Edit: Thinking of getting this one: http://www.amazon.com/Seagate-Barracuda-3-5-Inch-Internal-ST1000DM003/dp/B005T3GRNW/ref =sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1367042027&sr=8-1&keywords=seagate+barracuda+1tb

You can usually find 2TB drives for $100 or less, and I bought a 3TB drive last "black friday" for around $100.

As for brand, I've always liked Western Digital best. Seagate is good, but in recent years WD's track record has been better as far as reliability.
That said, the 3TB was a Seagate, and I'm really not worried about it.
