People are forgetting the obvious... stat gain for aees are random and close to 0 with exception to attack for weapons while on tyrants stat gain is fixed

It costs ~20 mil to get 10 stars using starforce
It costs around 10 bil to get 10 stars using aee

They both work the same.. Use Star force for anything that's non-superior items..
You either drop a star upon failure, or use the protecting method on tyrant so you don't drop a star.. They give same stats.

you use aee for the first star since it's 100% (starforce for superior items is 50% for first star)

but i have one more question. What is the difference between aee on tyrant vs starforce on tyrant?

For anything other than tyrants, starforce starforce starforce.

star force... only use aee on superior tyrants

I don't know much of the differences, but I'd say that the main no or go for them is whether or not you want the chance of your equip(s) to boom.
