Any WoW players?

I just got WoW like 4 days ago and i've been looking for people to play with or just have someone who is knowledgable with the game talk me through how different things work because there's a lot involved in the game and having some tips and tricks would be really helpful. I'm only a level 28 ret pally so I still have a while to learn the game knowledge and still have a while until end game stuff actually begins but like I said any help would be great.

FFXIV is the way to go.

The game is still considered to be a "young" mmo and is developing nicely. There's raids from the new expansion that have yet to be beaten as well. Mechanics are actually a thing.

This.

If you want to actually do something prior to max level, go play FFXIV.

Nothing really to learn until you reach lvl cap.
Then the only things you focus on is your cooldowns and realizing the optimal times to use those cooldowns.
After you get the hang of that, you need to learn the other classes cooldowns and how to counter them in PVP.
For pve, you just need to trial and error until you memorize the boss mechanics (usually will be stomps, killing adds, going to safe zones).
Honestly WoW was much more challenging back in the day. They dumb it down more and more making everything easier to the current state where its like league of legends...
