Returning to Maplestory amp Bellocan

After much thought, I've returned to GMS after about a year, as I remember the cheap Santa NX suits from last year and the events. It seems I've missed a ton of classes and events, and also apparently the fact that Bello is pretty dead. I've been looking to PQ for some tempest coins for the past two hours, with legitimatley only about 5 people passing through Monster Carnival, Pyramid and the Dojo. Is it time for me to move to a more active server? Which would be most recommended if I did so. I'd move my I/L Mage, as I'm a lazy grinder and I'm p-proud of him ;n; I'm also guildless, sob

Speaking of my Mage, I hit a good 45k - 50k with Ice Strike (9k - 10k over five? hits), but It seems Im pretty useless now. This new mage class hits a ton of damage at a much lower level then me (for instance, I was getting those powders/orbs of Sage Cats and one of the new mages comes in and hits about 60k - 65k at level 80 ;n Could this be just due to his equips? Or is it time for me to make a new character.

I joined GMS roughly a year or so before Pirates, so the Adventures classes are those that I'm quiet fond of. Also, I logged on with legitimately 1k mesos on my mage! I've been reading farming guides however, so I'm covered

If anyone could answer these questions, that would be swell!
