You've seen them. They stand by the FM door and say the same words ad nauseum. But really, has anyone ever bought mesos from those sites? Are they scam or legit? (for education purposes, of course). Someone share their thoughts and experiences about them with me.

They even sell accounts too for real money (that are probably also botted and hacked) which is just as against the ToS as well.
I recall a while back reading and watching videos on those who are gold farming just to sell that stuff for real currency, mostly done by laborers in China and also applicable to video games outside of MapleStory - here's a small portion of a documentary that focused on MapleStory meso farming. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ho5Yxe6UVv4

Although nowadays you can just hack and bot rather than just sit there - but I am trying to say that there's a whole other hidden industry that has sprung up as a result of this kind of stuff.

I know they are against ToS. I'm just curious. Earlier I've seen rates like 1:350, which is much seems a lot better than what Premium Surprise Boxes, Marvel, and Gachapon tend to yield. Where do they get those mesos from?
Haven't used them ever, however I do believe the current going rate usually is around $1:200 mill mesos. So you will have some that are legitimate, although you still run the risk of getting scammed or hacked or w/e.
But obviously they're against the ToS, so there isn't any further discussion regarding the topic at this point.
