Step 1: Get yourself a hefty amount of slates and spell traces, as well a few fafnirs of the weapon you want to perfect.
Step 2: Spell trace the fafnirs with 15%s until you get at least 4/8. Either discard/extract/fuse the fafnirs that fail to reach 4/8.
Step 3: Once you have a 4+/8 weapon, hammer it twice
Step 4: Start slating until all slots are cleaned (fully slate the weapon)
Step 5: Start using 15% spell traces again
Step 6: Rinse and repeat steps 5-6 until the weapon is perfected, then 5 star it
Pro tips: Ask someone with max diligence+guild skills to scroll the weapon for you, as spell traces will have a 29% success rate if those criteria are met. Also dont give in to despair, you might have some bad tracing runs but just keep on going, youll eventually perfect it.

@sburdette how much is prime scroll?

Use 15% spell traces and clean slates to make an end game weapon unless you can afford to buy prime scroll service from someone that still has them

I have one but it's a sw one that I already equipped
It cost me about 10b to make and get to unique pot with 7% att though so you could try spending about that much
