Unfunded Marauder needs some advice?

Sooo yeah, how would I go about getting better equipment with very little funds?
I only have 12m.
Sorry if this is a little vague but I don't know where to start. >_<"
Oh wow, I didn't know Nack sold ores. -_-
I'll follow that process then!
He only sells ores up to Bronze/Adamantium. If you need anything of a higher quality, you'll need to mine it yourself(Either through part-time jobs or actual mining) or buy it. Unless you plan to make 70+ items, I don't believe you'll have to touch unpurchasable ores at all.
Sometimes the Belt you craft will come out with potential, if not (or if the potential is crappy), I just go to a corner of Ardentmill in a channel without many people and drop transfer to my alchemist mule. It won't matter if anyone loots them since they're pretty much worthless, and it's quite easy to just get some new belts. Same deal with overalls.

Although, I really didn't mine for my ores. I just bought them from Nack and made level 40 Belts, a very cheap process.

@Tricks122 no Im pretty sure premium chance is the chance of getting double mastery. It cant be pot because i got pot with lvl 1 smithing when premium wass 0%
Premium probably means nothing then. Double Mastery chance is filed under Diligence; look at the trait and you'll see how it gives a % chance for Double Mastery. I'm 100% sure premium is NOT the chance of Double Mastery. Perhaps it just doesn't list the chance for potential at all, or perhaps premium is the chance of it coming above average stat wise. I've honestly got no clue of what premium is at this point.

But guys, how do you get potential on a belt?
When I craft a belt does it have a chance of having potential, or would I have to fuse belts? o_o"

@Tricks122 nah its the chance of you getting double mastery from crafting
Actually, double mastery(In relation to Diligence) is a chance of receiving 2x the experience towards your Profession when making an item. I've had it happen to me and it's nice if you want to powerlevel your professions for Willpower. It's not the same thing.

Edit:@nickbovv888 Thanks. I'll have to go try that once I get my Jett to 120.
I believe so. I'm not completely sure, but I think it's around that rate that I get items with potential.
Huh, seems like I have a lot of crafting to do. :O

Is there some way of knowing the chances of crafting an item with potential? Is it the Premium %?

@chaiitea Based on your Jewel Crafting/Blacksmithing level, every item you make has a chance of coming out with potential. Based on your Alchemy level, every time you fuse two items the result has a chance to come out with potential. Ideally you'd raise all these skills to 10 so you'll have the maximum chances of obtaining potential. Note that for Alchemy, fusing two items WITH potential will result in higher chances of obtaining a new item with potential compared to two items without potential. Personally, I never fuse potential with non-potential because I find it's not worth it. I fuse potential with potential and non-potential with non-potential; for me, that seems to give the best results, although I mostly fuse crappy rings.
@ultrabeast I've heard people complain that Sigils will not longer activate after the Jett patch. So apparently it is broken again... This patch has been glitch filled, to say the least.

@nickbovv888 Do the rings drop even after you've done the quest? I may very well have to go try that on my Bucc after I finish my Jett, I need some Superior Item Crystals...

Amped pretty much sums up what you should do. Note that to help with funds you can run Mining/Herbalist jobs on a high level of either profession to have a chance at getting some nice items to either sell or use. Once CWKPQ gets fixed, you should get a Mark of Naricain. 10 attack and +5 all stats will serve you nicely until a HTP/CHTP with %STR. If you need Dex, I have a list of items I'd be glad to post that may help you.

You can also work on Kenta PQ Goggles, which are third tier and pretty much the best eye slot in game with +5 all stats and free potential. It does take 50 PQ's(If you get both Pianus scales) to get them, so it would be a bit(5 days, at the least). Other PQ rewards aren't really worth it, other than Magatia PQ, but the exp is worth it.
Start crafting. First craft Belts until you get yourself a 4% STR one (and a few other 2~4% or beyond to sell for some cash), then move over to Overalls. You should be able to get a 4% STR Belt/Overall very easily, along with some cash in your pocket. A FM store for 1.8K NX helps a TON for selling crafted goods.

Anyhow, besides that, pick up 3% STR earrings, 4% STR sneakers (Which you could also fuse on an alchemist mule), 3% Cape, and a Zakum Helmet would be nice for starters. The earrings are abundant in the FM, and a Zakum Helm is easy to get if you have a friend to kill it for you. At 120, I recommend doing the Neo City quests with a partner or two. Very fast EXP, great hat that is auto-epic with 10 to all stats (Although it's pretty ugly), free mastery book for your class, and a nice Medal. The hat has the potential to beat a clean ZHelm depending on how lucky you are with the stats. Until 120, Magatia PQ grind is great EXP, but the pendant they give is also pretty fantastic. You can grind up to, say, 9ish minutes or even less if your party doesn't sit around on the platform stage, and complete the PQ.
Do what he says
