Slow amp Cold Beam? I notice that the guide here opts for Slow rather than Cold Beam? I remember when I looked up builds way back when, it was the reverse -- what caused the change in dogma? I mean, my SP reset scroll doesn't expire til sometime this Saturday, IIRC, so I still have a little time -- but getting rid of Cold Beam would leave me without a strong individual attack until I finished maxing... oh, huh, this is confusing, all the third job attack skills that the guide says to max are mob things. I am a penurious and penny-pinching priss who doesn't like mob attacks unless I'm doing it from a safe platform and/or targeting weaklings, possibly this is influencing me. ...explicate, prease? //edit: Augh pah I forgot about special charac
Grand Eligos Rod? I've nearly got enough emblems saved up to buy one; is it worth it or should I save those emblems for something else? It's 147 m.atk. I couldn't find any ele staffs in the FM, so I couldn't even scout out prices, but anyway those aren't until lv16x, and I'm a slow-leveling 13x (i.e., I don't grind and sometimes I prolong certain levels on purpose) -- so I suppose the main question is whether it's worth the emblem price.
Soloing Zakum, aka didnt we have an I/l bossing thread? Lv150. Range 10k-13k. Skills mostly on track with Kalemora's guide, except for one point in Hero's Will. How long would it take for me to solo Zakum and how likely is it that I'll die like a dog -- nay, like unto a wretched cur? And what on earth happened to that thread?
