Judging from the multiple group hitting skills we have now (and the loss of many ideal skills), I'd say we're now basically a melee F/P Mage.

Then again, I hope Nexon isn't stupid enough to have removed and tinkered with these skills in the real KMS...

...no we dont? both transformation and ST were taken away. our skills have the ST sprite, but imho, thats worse then not having it at all. Buccs are about doing it yourself, fighting your own battles, becoming strong by your own power. Summoning somthing else to do attacks for you... I just dont like it. Another thing is that we'll be made into tanks. loss of iframes, 5% of hp/mp recovered every 5 secs, its just tankish and i dont want to be one.

@Toukie: Ah, I knew that much, I just thought I read something in the notes about a Gunslinger's 4th job title being changed. Must've been my imagination.

Captain is actually the KMS name for Corsair.
It's why you only hear of Captain's in KMS notes due to the fact they're officially named that in that version.
GMS simply took the original pirate names and altered them for us here.

Original class names:
Gunslinger -> Valkyrie -> Captain
Infighter -> Buccaneer -> Viper

@FuGeeLa Yea, I'm pretty sure all we wanted was(And I'm not sure if everyone wanted it); somewhat faster Demo, no cooldown on ST, Energy Charges faster or each hit of Barrage/Demo charges 6/8 "points" respectively and if not a "Combo Up" like skill for Energy would've worked.

I think that's honestly what most people wanted. That's it, not a whole revamp.

@Tricks122 I would say most of us just wanted a couple of changes, nothing too dramatic. It's kind of ironic because Nexon did the opposite.

@motionblurr Oh yea. Which adequately explains why Mages didn't get completely overhauled when they were the class that complained just as much as us. I'm sorry, where was this message when Buccs just came out? Because I, for one, thought Buccs would always have a similar playstyle to what they originally had. Every class so far has gotten a Revamp, not been changed into a whole new class. Exactly why in the hell should we not be pissed about this?... I'd rather have my crappy damage than a class that has lost most of what I enjoyed about it but does 2x the mobbing damage and more bossing damage than it used to.

@karmamayne Well to be fair, GMS gets their info from KMS so its just a copy/paste thing so they don't have a say in all the revamps and whatnot.

OT: We'll just have to wait for the final product because it is what it is, we don't have a direct say in what we want. Some Buccs will like the update and some won't, that's just how it is. I for one like and dislike it at the same time, but that's just me. Everyone has opinions and they're entitled to them, there's no need to step on toes and say who is right and who is wrong. So yes, I agree that we do lose a lot and some people don't understand that.

I can understand the pain. We won't have invincibility frames anymore, we get a complete copy of another classes' ultimate, we lose transform.. It can certainly be seen as horrible. However, some reactions are a bit over the top, not gonna lie. I think as time goes on we'll see that this change might not be quite as bad as we all think. Right now though, I'm not positive.
