What does Wild Lure do Wh question

I don't particularly care about its effects on mobs since we only use the skill when we're summoning the jag. Is this skill useful in bossing and if so, what does it do? The description is too vague and google isn't really helping me and the wild hunter threads since the revamp are quite dead.
It seems redundant from reading it. You cast it when you summon the jag, aka when you're bossing and NOT mobbing so it wouldn't make sense to cast it. And in bosses, being "untouchable..."

@cuzneck95 I'm assuming in chaos RA, this would only affect blue pierre's spin touch damage and none of the other bosses.
I wonder if this works for hard magnus' rush since that is also considered "touch damage."
Any WH's tested this?
it takes the focus of ur character and puts it on the jag since the jag cant be hurt it just let you hit for free, but it only works on some boss's
I guess makes enemies Attack the Jaguar and makes the Jaguar invincible/undamagable so it doesn't disappear?
