The System Menu is the one thing that may have password protection at first. There's no way of resetting it if you can't enter it.

But you don't have to manually adjust the boot order on a lot of (newer) systems. You will bet a popup sometimes telling you to press a specific key in order to boot from cd.
well, when i burned it onto the disc, i burned it as 2.5.0 but the ophcrack file is 2.3.1
is that gonna make a diff?

you could try going into the system menu by hitting f2... or f12 ( i can't remember) and resetting the admin's password. then you're in
You have to boot from it. Restart your computer and select cd as startup device.
And hope she doesn't know about BIOS passwords too.
UAC will prevent you from installing the keylogger aswell.
Best way would be to ask a friend to write OHPcrack or a linux live CD to an USB-flash drive with http://unetbootin.sourceforge.net/ and boot from it.

I recommend running Ubuntu Live though because you mom won't notice if you don't forget to remove the drive everytime you are done.
You can install flash in the ubuntu live cd by entering this command at the terminal: sudo apt-get install flashplugin-nonfree
You can open the terminal by pressing CTRL + ALT + T.
omg, you'll never guess what happened, she upgraded flash so she could watch the new pirates of the caribbean movie online.
so i dont need the flash anymor, but i burn OphCrack onto a cd-r but when i try to use it it wont work, any help on that?
Thanks for making that point clear, to me it looked like he said he did have.
if i did have admin access i would have been able to do stuff many months ago...
im thinking of a keylogger and then try to have her put her password in for something like removing a desktop shortcut, but the thing is i never used a keylogger, or know a reliable one. so anyone of you can tell me a reliable one?
He doesn't have Administrative access, so he can't disable UAC to give himself Administrative access... like he said, if a user could turn off the controls then there'd be no point in having the controls.

@TS This is why there's UAC in the first place. If you make obvious changes to the computer, she'll know you're trying to bypass her control. What do you think she'll do then? Best thing is to convince her to allow it.
but the prob is that 1.she doesnt like me on the comp to begin with, and 2.she is do damn stubborn. she thinks a canine is a special breed of dog... ikr, thats why i cant talk to her...
I love the recursion in this story.
Imgburn is a great tool for burning of images. http://www.imgburn.com/
But why don't you disable, install flash and then re-enable UAC if you want to have UAC nagging you all the time?
1,sorry for the late response, time zones
2, she doesnt like me being on the comp.
3,i know it helps other programs
4,i can disable UAC from the control panel, that would defeat the purpose of having UAC
i also need a free trial CD/DVD burner to burn ophcrack onto a CD, then i can find out her pw, but the prob is i can download anything without her permission, and she will be suspicious about why i need a CD/DVD burner...

How come she doesn't want you to install it?

You can't disable it from your control panel?

Just tell your mom to let you download it. It helps other applications run on websites too, not just games.
