hi fellow darks,

did HB give only 50% hp,mp boost to darks post bigbang or it still was 60%? darks on SEA only get 50% boost while party members receive 60%. was it a bug? or it was supposed to work that way?

============================================================================

i was bored and so logged on and checked this out for myself with guildmates and ya, she's entirely right.

naked base hp/mp -> naked hb hp/mp

me (dk) = 25726 hp // 1320 mp -> 38590 hp // 2112 mp = 50% gain
17x bishop = 2616 hp // 20995 mp -> 4185 hp // 31492 mp = 60% gain
18x evan = 3291 hp // 16812 mp -> 5265 hp // 26899 mp = 60% gain
15x dk = 12898 hp // 1044 mp -> 19348 hp // 1670 mp = 50% gain

so i was wondering, what about personal hb?

naked base hp/mp -> naked real hb hp/mp
25726 hp // 1320 mp -> 38590 hp // 2112 mp
naked base hp/mp -> naked self hb hp/mp
25726 hp // 1320 mp -> 34302 hp // 1848 mp

for the evan, who also had personal hb...
naked base hp/mp -> naked real hb hp/mp
3291 hp // 16812 mp -> 5265 hp // 26899 mp
naked base hp/mp -> naked self hb hp/mp
3291 hp // 16812 mp -> 4607 hp // 23536 mp

self hb from hb pants is stated to be 40% hp...
the evan got the full 40% boost, while we get slightly less than 33% boost

i suggest we go ticket this! we're dyin' unecessarily when we shouldn't be all those times when say we're in seduce and we die just before the duration wears off!
the hp gains now are as high as the maxed skill in the past? i suppose tahts not so bad.
been hearing that ppl now have a lot less hp though.
well, it's what i remember, if you want a good, scientific answer, ask southperry. as for lower HP, could be the fact that washing isn't as required as it was before, therefore not many still do

@chickenpoodl: you kinda have it, from what i see, new and old warriors have the same HP on average, before you earned X amount, plus whatever the skill level gave you.

now you earn the same amount as if you had the skill maxed, PLUS a 20% hp increase on top
think of "hp increase" as equipping two rex earrings.
gotta remember that point lol. keep thinking of it as being part of base and not an addition.
want the old hp increase back.
Simple math

10k before any boosts
20% for the 1st job skill = 2k
60% for hb = 6k

10+2+6 = 18k

10k base + 2k for 1st job skill means you see 12k normally
12k * 150% = 18k

If you can follow my math
uhh this is simpler than what i posted, lol but yea, basically, any and all percentual HP increases, stack, wether they come from skills, potential lines, or equips.
k tested it on a pally and i got 50% gain only.

but the question i wanna ask now, if its related to first job skill, why is it 50% gain instead of 40%?
maxed hp boost gives 20% hp increase...
because it stacks, simply put:
100% hp, you use HB ->160% HP
120% hp, you use HB ->180% HP

however, your perception of 100% is actually 120% hp, so you "rule of three", if 120% hp is 100%, 180% is?

180*100/120=150%

so when HP goes from 120% to 180%, what you see goes up by 50%.

same with decent, if 120% is 100%, 160% is?
160*100/120= 133.33...%

so you see an increase of 33%.

think of "hp increase" as equipping two rex earrings. or rather, tell the evan to equip rex earrings and a Czak, you should notice HB increases his new HP by 50%
woohoo i was right!
stupid nexon
well, if you want to get 60%, just don't put points in it *pokerface*

but yea, guess that this skill does make our old hp-increase skill better, not so sure though.

but yea, warriors have 120% hp at all times (except aren'ts) and some other like DB's too.

sseems like a simple multiplcation for hb... but i guess not.

i'm wondering if this started with introduction of % hp gears (czak, chtp, rex, potentials) or if it was bigbang.
trying to think of why our resultant hb is diff from everyone else which would lead to nexon not just copy pasting the hb effect from one class to another.

think of all those times we died jsut before seduce wore off! we were wastin' wheels teh whole time!
i never remember a time where i died well before sed wore off. i remember i needed exactly 45+k hp to survive a one extra hit in seduce after a 1/1 because of the amount of hp we're left with from achilles + the invinciblity frame durations between hits...
i ended up wtih almost 47k hp after gears.
if hb was working the way it should, i'd be well over 50k!

we're getting scammed!
