New placement matches
So far played 1, lost 1
I just started ranked this season and I'm already hating ranked.
I just lost my first placement ranked game because of a bottom lane Vayne with ~80 cs at 40 mins and a Darius who went 0/14/~2. No one on my team had higher than 100 cs by 40 minutes (except for me) compared to the other team who had 200+ per player (excluding supp/jungle) :S The only players on our team who went positive was our mid and support (LOL). I jungled and its hard to jungle when all 3 of your lanes are losing and pushed up y'know? I assisted every kill our team got even though I went negative. ._.
I hate you LoL. I wish I was better at video games. Someday I will wake up with hands/a mindset like Doublelift.
So how are you all doing on your placement matches for this season?

went 6-4 and got to plat 5 but stuck at plat 5 T_T
I went 8-2 in provisionals.
Was silver 3 end of last season. (did [i]awful[/i] in provisionals and ended up Bronze 4 and had to carry myself out).
Got Gold 4 after provisionals.
Lol haven't done placement but not looking forward to it. Ranked is a bit of a crapshoot for us low-level support mains. I'm like, good enough where I can set up and keep a mediocre ADC safe and fed but not good enough to carry a team from support position or win a lane back from a really big deficit, even if the opponents aren't that skilled. So every now and then I get an ADC that will literally walk up to melee range before attacking. Still can't figure out what to do when my ADC doesn't understand how to CS or attack from range.
I lost my first 2 provisional games in a row with Shyvana and Mundo, at this point I was like yeah, I'm giving up.
So the next game I proceeded to troll pick Tristana mid and ended up going 12/0... what?
Afterwards I troll picked Riven jungle going 10/1.
In the end, I won all my games after I started "troll picking."
Went 7-3 and landed into Silver 2. I was getting to Gold fast with around ~30 lp gain per game (Not trolling picking anymore haha).
In my Silver 1 promos I threw extremely hard; went 0/8 on Ori and my team flamed at me a lot
"OMG how is this player even lvl 30? NOOB ORI, go back to bronze! We lost because NOOB ori doesn't do anything!" One bad game doesn't constitute a player.
Now I'm scared of ranked again... will probably stop playing ranked for awhile when I hit gold 5
tl;dr lost while playing seriously, played well with troll picks, got flamed at for feeding and losing in promos, I hate ranked
Yeah, currently, Plat1-Diamond 3 Games are decided at champion select. Whoever has more high lp diamond 1/challengers in their team win..
Had a duo gold botlane matched up against aphromoo and jessicajung. pretty annoying.
Just gotta wait for it to stabilize I guess. The people who deserve to rise will rise, and those who deserve to drop will drop.

Don't feel bad. During my placements, I had several games in which I was carrying, including a game in which I was a 14/5 vayne at my peak, and the team had a 20 kill advantage over the enemy team, but a DC costed me the match in each of those games. Caused me to go from a possible 8-2 to a 4-6.
I'm 5/0 atm, just 5 more wins in a row. should be easy.

Just curious, what was your rank before the Ladder reset?
Yeah, we tend to remember those games more.. when I really think about it, I have great luck. I just feel the losing streaks more. ON topic, haven't done placements yet. I'd like to improve through normals a little more first. Good luck with the rest of your games.
