Any Rwby fans on Basil?
What did you guys think about volume 1? I thought it was amazing <3 Everything about it is just so cool. The character design and weapons as well as the fight choreography and the dialog ad the music OH ITS SO AWESOME! <3 <3 <3

The thing that ticked me off the most was:
- Not enough fighting scenes
- The hell with the 2D anime emotes?
IMO RWBY was alright:
The animation was pretty poor, choppy with non-fights.
The story was decent at best even if it is a first of many seasons it wasn't that strong.
The music was the most redeeming factor, the music is well placed and fits into scenes where intended.
Characters are decent at best, characters like Jean stand out as a character of interest in the future. But the main 4 aren't anything special.
The world design is pretty good, but with the very short episodes and minimal explanation a lot of important things are ignored or under-explained (dust, what huntress actually do, etc)
