My first Elite boss

So I just killed my first Elite boss and since so many people are still asking about them, I thought i'd give my 2 cents about it. I was on my lvl75 Berserker, training at poison poopas. I think I killed around 6 or 7 Elite monsters before it showed, but as you get closer to spawning a boss, the message you receive after killing an Elite mob will be something like "I can feel something in the darkness" so if you see that, you're getting close. Anyways. I killed one of the Elite Mobs when "Warning" Flashed across my screen and suddenly the edges of my screen turned black/purple and the Elite Mage boss appeared with 2 Elite monsters. I tried to take some screens but I can't find them so if you want to know what they look like, they are the bosses you see on Maplestory's rising heroes banner in front of the black mage. I guess there is one for every class. It gave me 30mins to fight it, and I killed it around the 12min mark, so it took me awhile to kill. It spammed all three Mage ultimate attacks (Genesis, ect) which did anywhere from 3k-5k each hit. Luckily I have 16k HP so it wasn't that big of an issue. It also loved to turn me into a ribbon pig which of course kept me from attacking. Weakness was also an issue, because in Aqua road, jumping is kinda important. He has a really far attack range when he isn't using ultimates, where he shoots chains out of the ground which do moderate damage. In case you were wondering, I did die once during the fight, and the boss does not disappear if you die, which I was worried about at the time. After I killed it, the bonus stage started. It's about 15sec long and there are little chests running around the map that you have to hit with normal attacks which make them drop bubbles that contain mesos/exp and items I guess, although I didn't get any items. If you are training, make sure you have your normal attack on your keyboard, because I didn't and I wasted half the bonus setting it up. That's about it, and I hope that clears some things up for some people.I really wish I could find my screens to show what it looked like though.

You can also just pick up the bubbles that drop with your pick up button, whatever you may have that set to be.

The Elite Bosses in my experiences are able to cast a wide range of debuffs such as Darkness, Advanced Darkness (Or whatever it's called where you can only see you and the bats are flying with the sheet over your head) Stun, Weakness, Zombify, Curse, Seal, Seduce, and Cancel Weapon/Magic Attack. I've only fought the Mage one, yea it can cast Genesis, Blizzard, Meteor Shower, this Dark Chains thing, and it has a Knockback attack too if you get too close to it, I've never had it use it when I was far away, only spamming chains. They usually are named like the Elite Monsters so you have a little warning as what to expect what they'll be using the most, I've fought a Poisonous one before that was doing 2000Hp/sec with it's cloud. I've also had problems with them having a Damage Reflect ability without a warning/notification/icon or anything going off, but maybe it's just something they do to you or idk, I died multiple times on my Wind Archer Level 91 against a Level 60 Elite Mage Boss at Skeledogs/Mummydogs when I found it.

Hope this helps

I was at Warrior Grounds when I encountered my Elite Boss. It was a Kaiser, hitting about 9k damage in sets of four (36k damage). Lucky I had an 80% damage reduction from a marksman buff. Took me about 8 minutes to kill the boss with an annoying amount of seduce and cancel weapon attack. I managed to get 2 clean slate scrolls 10% and a Master Craftsman Cube from the bonus stage, so I'd say it was worth my time.

Your pet won't pick up those items for you too so make sure you have your item loot key set up too....
At bonus stage...

And some pictures from my friend in case anyone want to see it:
Actually the bonus round varies in tasks each time. So far they've only dropped from the sky for me, no chests. They were pretty difficult to get seeing them for the first time.

Keep your inventory clear.
Interesting. I haven't been on the training grounds yet so this is some good information for me.
