Exploded my Weapon, kind of upset
So I was soloing the level 60+ PQ on my Night Lord and mule, and a Last Unwelcome Guest Claw dropped from the mage boss, which was 50 attack clean. I had about 20 of the 50% pink scrolls in my inventory that I had bought (I never glitched in the event, mind you), and decided I'd scroll it since I was so excited that I found it. I landed 5/7 50s, and it was 75 attack. Then, happy as can be, I brought it to free market to buy an advanced potential scroll. I bought an overpriced one at 27.5mil. I used it... and it exploded the claw. I tried to be like "it's just a game, I'll get over it," but honestly, I worked hard the past few days earning money to buy those scrolls, and was planning on doing a lot with them, and to see most of them wasted kinda sucked, so I just logged off and took a small break. Decided I'd vent on basil. : Lesson learned: Potential an item before you start scrolling it!

It exactly happened to me, only 6/7 pink scolls worked on my craven.
always pot before you scroll. not only because it could break but if it ends up 2 lines it's not really worth touching anyway

I'm scared to use a Potential scroll but i was bored one day and wasted myy money on 5 Equip Enhancement scrolls and they ALL WORKED on my Cape <.< now its 21 Str <.<
Well most people...unfortunately...Dont realise they should potential it BEFORE they scroll it with decent scrolls >_>

i had a 69atk lvl 60gun. I thought, y not enhance it? i bought 2 and both worked. The gun now had 73atk 1dex and 0slots left U/H
that was when i decided to potential scroll it. I got a POT scroll, used it and it worked. I used a magnifying class and it came up with 3luk. I wasn't too happy so i cubed it. I used another magnifying glass and to my delight, it added +3 to all stats and 14avoid

I'm not saying the rates are screwed. I've passed a handful of potentials, and this was the first I failed. Also these aren't opinions, and this isn't blasphemy.
People who reply, reply because something blew up where as a majority of people who succeed keep silent. So although it may seem that alot of people are failing their scrolls and the % rates are blasphemy, thats the opinion of a small % out of a community. Just a thought

I like to potential first, cause usually its less of a waste of money if it explodes than if I scroll and it explodes.
Hmmm, i can't tell you potential fails cause mine have all worked. But, i failed 6 50% scrolls and 1 60% scroll on a perfect atk golden nisrock. o:
